The ODM National Elections Board (NEB) has adjusted accordingly the date for party primaries in Nyamira and Kisii Counties from April 9th and 11th, respectively. 

The party's NEB chairperson Judy Pareno said this was reached, to help accommodate religious and cultural aspects for the locals.  

''Therefore the exercise in the two Counties will be conducted on Monday 10th April 2017 and not Sunday 9th April as earlier communicated,'' she said, Thursday. 

In a statement, Pareno noted party primaries begin April 7, and would end on Sunday 23, April with nominations in Nairobi, Makueni and Garissa. 

The Raila Odinga-led party has since assured the exercise will be conducted in a free, fair manner.
