This is after the primaries turned violent over what supporters termed as election malpractice.
Ogega had earlier told reporters that he was optimistic about a peaceful, free and fair process despite issues determining which register to use
"Despite the delays, the exercise has started and we hope it will be free and fair. We have agreed to use the ODM register," he is quoted by the Star.
Witnesses say that chaos erupted at the Suneka polling station after members of the ODM party argued over the party register.
The party primaries kicked off with confusion after eight ballots boxes were reported missing while being transported to Bogiakumu Ward.
