Sirisia parliamentary hopeful Moses Nandalwe has defended the move by ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to join the opposition's super alliance saying he should not be chastised.
“The entry of Mudavadi should be celebrated, not criticised by those afraid of being displaced," Nandalwe told the Star on the phone.
Nandalwe asked those terming the 2013 presidential candidate as a Jubilee mole to stop and instead work together in uniting the opposition.
He was reacting to Luhya Elders’ Forum chairman and Nominated MP Patrick Wangamati's claims that claims that Mudavadi is a Jubilee mole.
"I urge them to work hard and get numbers more than Mudavadi's instead of trying to fight him," he said.
Nandalwe, who joined the ODM from Ford Kenya in July, also warned that such reckless utterances could cost the opposition the 2017 polls.
“We do not know whether it was his personal remark or if he was sent to say so," he added.
He said the issue of branding others moles has cost the opposition a great deal and must end if the opposition plans to defeat Jubilee in the 2017 polls.
