They have been on the spot for alleged interference in the coalition's concerted efforts to reach a consensus on who shall be the 2017 presidential elections flag bearer, among the triple premiers.

Speaking on Wednesday morning during an interview, Hassan Omar, the Wiper secretary-general firmly made a public call for steadfast sobriety in the manner in which the opposition plans to nominate its presidential candidate prior to the upcoming general elections.

‘‘By all means, we are stronger when united than if each candidate stands on their own. I decamped from ODM simply because the party nominations ahead of the 2013 general elections were botched,’’ he said.

Responding to the accusation, Ababu Namwamba advised Omar to take the matter with ease saying moles have always been part of the game. He felt remorseful that Omar was drowned by poor politics that finally dumped him at the Wiper party.

To date, the three opposition leaders are involved in a flagship battle as to who shall lead the coalition in the forth coming presidential elections.
