The Orange Democratic Movement leaders have proved that they can operate even without the supervision of their leader Raila Odinga.
These was evident when the party leaders led by the Deputy leader and Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho and his Nairobi counterpart held a gigantic rally in Mathare on Sunday the 18th of September.
All this happens when the party leader and founder is on a trip to Germany.
The rally attracted hundreds of thousands of the party supporters and admirers started from Kawangware and Kibera before climaxing at the Masinde Muliro gardens in Mathare. It also brought the ruling coalition under sharp criticism with the present leaders accusing the president and his team of theft and corruption with Homabay county Women representative Gladys Wanga saying that the 'meat' the president claims to be eating is a product of illegal deals and transactions.
Perhaps Baba should stay in Germany some more time so we can see what more the ODM brigade is made of.
