Dennis Okomol, area ODM official who was charged of committing the offense on unknown dates in April 2013 expressed his joy in tears.

The court heard that Okomol took in her cousin so that he could cater for her medical bills for her wound on her leg.

Around the said dates, he started noticing physical changes on the 15-year-old and upon inquiry, the girl denied.

This prompted him to investigate further on the matter and later, he learnt from a neighbor that he took the girl to conduct a pregnancy test at a local laboratory which tested positive.

Okomol went further and reported the matter to the police so that the culprit could be dealt with according to law but this was not to be.

After a series of conversations with the girl, she disclosed to him that she had two boyfriends identified as Madona and Amos.

Upon commencement of investigations, Madona and Amos were nowhere to be seen and could not be even identified by the neighbours and thereafter, the girl informed the social worker in a remand home where she resided that Okomol is the one who defiled her.

He was arrested when he went to the police station to inquire on the progress of the investigations.

During the court proceedings, the girl disclosed to the court of the two boyfriends saying further that she had sexual intercourse with the two in different occasions but the one responsible for her pregnancy was Madona.

Earlier, Okomol denied the charges on grounds that the complainant was his cousin and had no intention whatsoever to ruin her life.

In her judgement, senior resident Magistrate, Judicaster Nthuku stated that the girl had lied according to a P3 form presented before the court, the doctors examination showed that the hymen was broken and was 26 weeks pregnant by the time the accused was charged.

Nthuku said the girl told the court she was born in 1998 and it was revealed that she was born in May 1995 after Okomol produced the birth certificate to the court.

Additionally, the girl intentionally accused Okomol of being responsible for her pregnancy after the disappearance of her two lovers.
