Speaking in Nakuru West, Ole Sono claimed there are a few cases where IDs are issued on the basis of tribalism an issue he said should be investigated.

“The IDs come from Nairobi to Nakuru but then in Nakuru they are issued only to two communities. Let me state that every Kenya has a right to get a National ID,” he said.

The Nakuru County ODM Chair asked aspirants to run peaceful campaigns.

“I am calling on all aspirants in ODM to ensure there are peaceful campaigns ahead of the August polls. Those who will not make it in the nominations don’t give up but support the winners for the betterment of the party,” he said.
