This follows weeks of muscle flexing between the Orange party and the lawmakers who no longer subscribe to party ideologies.

They have also been accused of working with the rival Jubilee Party.

Ababu Namwamba, Budalang'i MP is among those who have been de-whipped from the committees.

Namwamba was discharged from the Budget and Appropriations Committee, Committee of Administration and National Security and Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee.

The axe also fell on Karachuonyo MP James Rege who was removed from the Energy Committee while Tigania East MP Mpuri Aburi was removed from the Energy and Lands Committee.

Sirisia MP John Waluke was not spared either as he was recalled from the National Security and Delegated Legislation Committee.

Others are Kubai Iringo, nominated MP Isaac Mwaura and Mathare North MP Stephen Kariuki.

However, in a quick re-battle, Waluke accused the party of denying him his constitutional right to represent the people of Sirisia and he dared them to delete his name from the register.
