The ODM party has disowned a memo doing rounds on social media, warning its members and aspirants of supporting their ANC and Wiper partners.
The three parties, including Ford Kenya and CCM, are partners in the National Super Alliance, Nasa.
Through secretary general, Nominated senator Dr Agnes Zani, ODM said the letter, purported to have been from her, was fake, and should be ignored.
''My attention has been drawn to a fake letter circulating on ODM and use of the ODM logo.Be informed that that letter has not originated from me and for members to be careful and verify content from ODM,'' Zani said, Tuesday morning.
''Any such information would be given to the media and as a signed statement first. Also our internal messaging systems to all Party Structure would have been used. Ignore,'' she advised ODM members.
Zani clarified that all information on ODM party symbols and further clarifications would be given in due course, and further asked all aspirants to keep up with campaigns, ahead of the August 8, elections.
