Contestants eying the ODM ticket for the Mombasa Women Representative and senatorial seats will have to wait longer to know their fate.Also on the waiting list are aspirants for the Changamwe and Jomvu parliamentary seats.This is after the Returning Officer (RO) Moris Odhiambo said the nomination results were not credible.According to the Nation, Odhiambo said there were cases of massive irregularities in Changamwe and Jomvu.He said there was no voting in Jomvu's Mikindani and Bangladesh polling centres.In Changamwe, the exercise was disrupted after MP Omar Mwinyi allegedly stormed a polling station in Bomu with his supporters, destroying voting materials.The MP was arrested and detained by police who said he will be arraigned in court on Monday.The RO added that in Kisauni, the presiding officer abandoned the constituency tallying centre following a heated dispute.“We will wait for the party elections board to make a decision on the disputed areas,” he said.Odhiambo further trashed reports that Hamisi Mashobo Mwaguya won the party's senatorial ticket.Mwaguya's rival, Mohamed Faki had also declared that he was the winner.
