Nyamira County governor John Nyagarama has been accused for using police officers to harass investors who did not support him during the August 8, 2017 polls.

Walter Nyambati, who unsuccessfully vied for Nyamira governor seat during the August 8 polls, said Nyagarama should focus on wooing more investors.

“I am calling on Nyagarama to stop harassing entrepreneurs who have set factories in the region," he said.

“Elected leaders and those who lost in last year’s elections should focus on brining more investors into the County,” added Nyambati

He challenged police officers to protect business people in the county and stop harassing, intimidating and making unnecessary arrests.
