Nyamira Governor John Sensationally claims that the media has conspired with Jubilee party to misinform the public over the ongoing poll petition.
Presiding Judge James Makau had on Monday ordered scrutiny in 29 polling stations and subsequent counting.
"The media has been misreporting that we shall have recount in 90 polling stations instead of 29 and that is outright bias," read part of statement from Communication Department.
Recount and scrutiny is scheduled to kickoff on Wednesday with petitioner Walter Nyambati accusing IEBC of inflating votes in favour of Nyagarama.
To create a wrong perception, Nyagarama says, Nyambati has resorted to use of media to falsify the actual direction of the case.
"The court declined scrutiny in 129 polling stations and the media is also reporting that I had applied against scrutiny. They are favoring the other side."
His statement comes moments after a section of NASA leaders accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of conspiring with court to have Nyagarama's victory nullified.
