Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama has been accused for failing to facilitate county MCAs to attend the ongoing Devolution Conference in Kakamega.
According to Manga MCA Enock Ogori, the county failed to release the money in time contrary to an early agreement.
"We were denied an opportunity to join other MCAs in Kakamega in the ongoing conference. Nyagarama has been running the county as a family kiosk since he was elected in 2013. Nyamira electorates messed up electing a failure," he said.
The MCA also claimed that County Assembly Speaker Moffat Teya is not a person to be trusted.
"The assembly speaker can't be trusted anymore because he has been working closely with Governor Nyagarama and his Deputy Amos Nyaribo to divert public funds to their own pockets," he added.
He assured that Nyagarama's poor style of leadership will not be allowed to continue until 2022.
The ward rep stated that Nyamira people deserve good roads, access to improved health care which can only be achieved if the MCAs are exposed.
