Nyamira governor John Nyagarama insists the planned swearing-in of Raila Odinga is 'wishful' thinking and cannot make him a legal president.
Instead, Nyagarama now wants Odinga to reach President Uhuru Kenyatta to iron out pressing issues on the country's stability.
"Many Kenyans have moved on and only few are interested with positions. We want peace in the country," he said on Friday.
He becomes the latest NASA leader to join moderates led by Richard Onyonka (Kitutu Chache South), Ben Momanyi (Borabu) and Vincent Kemosi (West Mugirango).
And a defiant Nyagarama says Kenya cannot have a scenario of having two presidents in the current constitutional order.
"We cannot have two presidents. Let this gentlemen sit down and discuss the issues. The swearing-in is not necessary," he said.
