A furious Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama now accuses President Uhuru Kenyatta of imposing leaders to Gusii people adding that he will ensure he scores zero votes.
At Nakuru State Lounge on Wednesday, Uhuru vowed to ensure he works around the clock to ensure Nyagarama and James Ongwae of Kisii victories are nullified.
But Nyagarama has come out guns blazing accusing Uhuru of meddling in local politics insisting that the president’s motive is based on witch hunt and malice.
“Kenya is a democracy and we ought to respect the rule of law. We cannot support same person at all times,” said Nyagarama.
He added:”Uhuru cannot dictate Gusii people on how to vote. He should concentrate on fighting for presidency of which we shall show him dust in October.”
Owing to the fact the Nyagarama is leading a double sword campaign in rescue of Chief Justice Maraga who has since fallen out of favour with president Uhuru; he is likely to face the war in coming days.
Already, Jubilee loser Walter Nyambati and his Kisii counterpart Chris Obure have filed petitions to challenge election of the two governors.
