A small article in Nyamira ODM Youth league WhatsApp Group degenerated into ugly exchanges between Governor John Nyagarama's daughter and a host of supporters.
In the article, the author questioned why the county had retained two Chief Officers yet it lacked essential services such as cemetery and dumping site.
And in quick response, Emily Nyagarama, dismissed the author further claiming that county residents lacked knowledge on law thus terming them 'brain less'.
"The article portrays ignorance in the writer. He is either ignorant or lacks brains," she said, in a response that backfired on her.
In a rejoinder, several supporters questioned the integrity of the governor's daughter with some linking her to several county scandals.
"We may be brain less but we are children of God. Richness and poverty are not permananent," said Douglas Oindo.
Another user Ben Mokua said: "The arrogance from the first family shows how they take us for granted. She has been controlling non pharmaceutical tenders in the county."
It is not the first time the First Family is being drawn to controversy given that recently residents questioned the decision by the governor to appoint his son as director Public Administration.
Throughout the conversation, angry ODM supporters attacked Ms Nyagarama with some praying that the governor lose election petition that is due next week.
