Speaking during a fund raiser in Nyasita Secondary School in Alego Usonga, Siaya county on Friday, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna noted that the party will not entertain threats and ultimatums from the remaining National Super Alliance (NASA) parties over the it's recent moves.

The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led side has since been warned of a pending expulsion by the Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford-Kenya blocs, over Odinga's recent truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta, with Sifuna now saying that such will not be condoned going forward.

"We want to make it clear that will will no longer be subjected to threats by our colleagues in NASA. We will not remain silent while being threatened as has been the case," said Sifuna.

He added that that the party has had enough and will,as a result, have to counter such actions in the future.

"We will now be forced to hit back whenever they throw insults and threats at us. We will take them head on," he added.

The parties also, recently, launched an offensive on ODM for ousting Ford Kenya party leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula as the Senate Minority Leader, threatening to hit back.

They have since embarked on a push to oust Odinga as the alliance chief, claiming that his reunion with President Uhuru automatically excludes his party from the coalition.
