Sirisia Member of Parliament John Waluke has accused Raila Odinga of turning Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party into a Luo party.
Speaking to his supporters over the weekend, Waluke said that the Orange party was on its downfall because of how its circles were turning the brand into a community thing by dismissing members from other regions.
"There has been a regression of ODM into a Luo party and not a national outfit and that is what will lead to its downfall," said Waluke.
The former ODM Bungoma chairman escalated his criticism of the former Prime Minister accusing him of frustrating and undermining other party leaders.
"Raila will never be president because he makes the same mistakes every time. He undermines the leaders that are always ready to help him. We have the same faces that have cost him elections in the past milling around. ODM needs change," he said.
Waluke and Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba have openly rebelled from ODM and said that they will attempt to take on the 2017 elections under the banner of their new party.
