Siaya gubernatorial aspirant Nicholas Gumbo has bashed ODM for engaging in fraud in the ongoing nomination exercise in the country.
According to Gumbo, ODM had preferred candidates for various posts in the forthcoming general election and was favoring them in the ongoing nominations.
"ODM is engaging in fraud in the ongoing nomination exercise in the country. The party has preferred candidates and that is why they are being favored in the nominations," said Gumbo.
Speaking during an interview on NTV's Sidebar, Wednesday, Gumbo further said that the party should not have solicited nomination fees from aspirants if the party had preferred candidates.
"The party should not have solicited nomination fees from aspirants if they had preferred candidates," added Gumbo.
However, the Rarieda legislator said he would be on the ballot after losing to Siaya governor Cornel Rasanga claiming that the process had been rigged in favor of Rasanga.
