Just as Mombasa Governor awaits to hold an ODM rally in Mathare on Sunday, Mathare MP Steven Kariuki is also set to hold a Jubilee rally in the same venue, on the same day.

In a notice addressed to the Inspector General of Police, Kariuki intends to hold a development project tour which will culminate in a mass civic education rally.

Kariuki's rally is a move to popularise the recently launched Jubilee Party and to inform and enlighten people of the programmes he has put in place to make Mathare a better place.

Meanwhile, Joho's rally is also set to popularise ODM ahead of the 2017 elections.
