Jubilee and ODM parties are in a commanding lead for several seats in constituecies in Nairobi as more reults keep trickling in.
In Embakasi East ODM's Babu Owino has been declared winner in a tight race against Jubilee's Rfancis Mureithi.
Babu won by 33,760 votes against Mureithi’s 31,511.
In Langata constituency, Jubilee's Nixon Korir won with 35,993 votes against ODMS Oscar Omoke's 35,361.
Jubilee candidate for Mathare and incumbent MP Stephen Kariuki has lost to his main rival ODM's Anthony Oluoch.
Anthony Oluoch who garnered 36,640 votes (54.7 per cent) against Kariuki’s 28,216.
In Starehe constituency Jubilee's Jaguar is currently leading by more than 10,000 votes against ODM's Steve Mbogo, so far activist Boniface Mwangi who came third has conceded defeat.
Embakasi South and Ruaraka constituency has seen a battle between NASA affiliate parties.
In Embakasi South, Ishrad Sumra of ODM lost to Julius Musili, who got 25,836 votes against Sumra's 25 590.
In Ruaraka, DDM's TJ Kajwang defeated Elizabeth Ongoro of ANC. Kajwang won by 32,190 votes against Ongoro’s 28,127.
