By appointing the respected and seasoned media personality of Kanze Dena's calibre, State House is hoping to make its communication very effective having come under sharp criticism in the past.

While reacting to the appointment of the former KBC anchor, Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga congratulated Dena saying that she is now the face of the youth at State House.

"I congratulate Kanze Dena for this appointment. Apart from the women face, we can now see the youth face. Young people did not relate well with the Presidency but we see they are making their way up there," said Wanga during an interview on Citizen TV on Wednesday.

Kanze, known for her "mpenzi mtazamaji" statement when anchoring news will now be in charge of all departments under PSCU and will be key in State House messaging to drive President Uhuru Kenyatta's "Big Four" agenda.
