John Okanga and Moses Ouma of ODM and Moses Ochieng (Ford Kenya) urged NASA principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka , Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula to sit down and save the coalition from collapse.

Addressing the press outside the County Assembly on Tuesday, Ochieng who is also the Deputy Majority Leader likened the removal of his party leader as the Senate minority chief to a coup.

"Wetangula traversed the country to campaign for Raila during the August 8th, 2017 presidential elections. Removing him is not in the spirit of democracy. In any case Ford Kenya has structures like ODM," he said.

Okanga said it is not fair to have one house dominant in the opposition politics.

"Wetangula is also ours and Raila is our father who should not discriminate his children. We need dialogue and unity in the coalition to keep the coalition intact," he said.

Ouma said the ouster of Wetangula was self-centered.

"All parties should now be geared towards 2022 elections and not to create divisions which might have far-reaching effects," he said.
