A Nyamira member of county assembly may lose her seat should she be found culpable of abusing a voter using unprintable words.
Callen Atuya, the only elected female MCA in Nyamira, who represents Bokeira ward, was secretly recorded by a voter, identified as Hosea who had called to complain about stagnated projects.
In the audio, the second term ODM ward representative is heard using unprintable words which are cleverly code mixed in Swahili and Ekegusii dialect.
Surprisingly, throughout the conversation, Hoses remains calm as Ms Atuya dominates the deadly debate over her alleged incompetence.
"This is against Chapter Six of the constitution and we have to invoke various articles to have her impeached," Hosea said.
But in the conversation, Atuya argues that the caller is an agent for hire by her competitors to soil her reputation.
"This is not the first time you are engaging me on trivialities. i am not going to allow it anymore," she is heard saying.
By the time of going to the press, a circular that seeks to collect signatures for her eviction had been unveiled in various social media platforms.
