Kiogoro member of county assembly in Kisii county Samuel Apoko has promised to ditch ODM and give his support to Jubilee government come 2017.
According to the MCA, Kenyatta is the leader of the people who should be supported to win his second term as the president of Kenya in the next general election.
Addressing the press on Monday in Kisii town, Apoko said he decided to ditch ODM party and join Jubilee because President Uhuru Kenyatta is the leader who sympathises with every person in the republic of Kenya
“In 2013 election I was elected as Kiogoro MCA by ODM party but in 2017 I will defend my seat using Jubilee party and I appeal to Kisii county residents including my ward residents to support Uhuru and I come 2017,” said Apoko.
“I had a pending case in court but the President forgave me, that is the leader who should be supported,” he added.
He lauded Uhuru for forgiving him and promised to support Jubilee.
