A section of ODM members in Msambweni, Kwale County have threatened to support other parties if their concerns regarding nominations are not addressed.Of key concern to the over 3,000 members is the reduction in the number of polling stations from 28 to a paltry five.The now want the party's top brass to ensure all the polling stations are restored before the primaries.The members, led by Hassan Kassim, particularly want party leader Raila Odinga to address the matter or else they support other parties.“The five stations are very far from our villages. We are supposed to walk between 60 and 70km from Msambweni and Ramisi to Kilulu,” said Kassim as quoted by The Star.“If ODM fails to handle its affairs and address our issues, we will support other parties. We want all polling stations restored before the nomination day,” he added.Kassim was addressing journalists on Monday in Fahamuni.He claimed such a move will lock them out of the ODM nominations slated for April 19.
