Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori has differed with NASA leader Raila Odinga over his position regarding the defection of former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar to Jubilee.Omar who had resigned as Wiper Secretary General after losing in his bid to oust Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho decamped to Jubilee and was officially welcomed into the Jubilee fold by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto last week. Many had expected NASA leader Raila Odinga to criticize the former senator over his move but the former Prime Minister who addressed a rally in Mombasa on Sunday steered clear off the matter.Raila said Omar is like his political child and will not make a comment regarding his defection. However, Dori had a different position regarding leaders from the region who defected to Jubilee saying that they had betrayed the aspirations of the region and that Raila should not have a soft stance on them."I want to tell Raila that those people who defected to other parties, don't call them your children. We don't recognize them here. If cannot stand with you, why stand with them?" asked the lawmaker.
