The Alego Usonga MP has clarified that the NASA leader does not interfere with the processes in the Senate and National assembly.

“When we were electing our leadership, H.E Raila Amollo Odinga was not involved, we got our leaders ourselves. He has never brought his hands in our processes,” said the MP while speaking on Hot 96 on Thursday.

He added that Wetangula is very dishonest since he clearly understands that Raila really tried to ensure that he is in the senate minority leader position.

“Wetangula is very dishonest because he knows very well that it is actually Raila who tried to ensure that he is in that position,” said Atandi.

He also said that the NASA summit did not consult the senate before letting Wetangula occupy the position and they felt that he was not fit for it.

“The senators were not consulted and they also said that the person who should be sitting in this office must be somebody we would want to elect. And the senate felt that Wetangula was not fit for that position,” clarified the lawmaker.
