With National Youth Service still recovering from the ghosts of the 2015 scandal, the troubled institution is at it again with yet another multi-billion scandal which Public Service Principal Secretary Lilian Omollo has dismissed terming it exaggerated.
However, an ODM MP has warned President Uhuru Kenyatta against condoning graft in his administration.
While speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Monday, Nominated MP Jackline Oduol said that they will continue to put the government on toes on matters graft, and that not even the famous handshake between Uhuru and NASA chief Raila Odinga meant to unlock the political stalemate in the country will stop their resolve to fight impunity.
Prof. Oduol asked the President to get tough in his push to rid the country of corruption.
"One of the things we need to understand is that the handshake was not to say that we would tolerate or encourage impunity," said Prof Oduol.
The latest scandal is already being handled by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions with over nine billion shillings suspected to be lost.
