NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka risks not getting the support of the coalition Chief Raila Odinga in his race to State House in 2022, an ODM MP has hinted.Kalonzo, who was expected to be sworn alongside Raila on Tuesday, January 30, skipped the event amid claims that he had been put under house arrest. His absence from the ceremony has irked a section of the coalition supporters and leaders alike who accused him of betrayal. In a post on her Facebook page, Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, a key member of the Raila inner circle, said supporting Kalonzo in the next general election is not guaranteed. She further hinted that the former Prime Minister might instead throw his weight behind Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, a key Raila lieutenant."I knew today was going to be an amazing and decisive day going forward. Uhuru Park was amazing….There was a ring around the sun. In my culture it signifies the coronation of a King. Therefore, 2018 kazi sasa ianze. I've exhaled. 2022=no obligations. Hakuna kurudisha mkono. Man Joho, you were present," she said in a Facebook post on Tuesday. As to whether her statement will have a bearing on the 2022 presidential contest remains to be seen.
