Suna East MP Junet Mohamed caused a sensation on Tuesday evening after he referred to coastal region coordinator Nelson Marwa as a monkey.
The ODM MP was speaking on Citizen TV during the political show - The Big question.
"This monkey what is his name Nelson Marwa this regional commander," said Junet.
Junet appeared unapologetic and vowed not to retract his statement even after being urged to do so.
"No, I will never retract that statement this man called Marwa has also been abusing people every day," said Junet.
The MP further challenged Marwa to face him in court if he feels agitated by the statement.
"That's my opinion if it has offended him he can as well go to court," he added.
Junet was among the six politicians who were jailed as the infamous Pangani six mid last year over propagating hate speech.
