He says that with Coastal residents are keen on taking up voter registration in anticipation of the polls, and he is going to do his best to get the votes for the Jubilee Coalition.

"Why can we not get 1 million votes for the President? The people of the Coastal region are tired of the opposition which has let them down and they want change," he said in a telephone interview.

Mung'aro says that the tide of change has arrived in the region.

"Change is with us now and it is coming. You can see leaders from all over the region moving to the Jubilee Coalition. It is now," he added.

Mung'aro has fallen out with CORD leader Raila Odinga and says that he is now fully a member of the Jubilee Coalition and will defend his seat come 2017 on the Jubilee Party ranks.
