The decision by former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar to join Jubilee is continuing to elicit mixed reactions with NASA politicians now accusing the former Wiper Secretary General of being an architect of the coalition's poor performance during the August 8 polls.
Nyatike MP Tom Odege, ODM, in an interview with NTV on Monday took an issue with the former Senator whom he accused of allegedly sabotaging NASA's plan to hold joint nominations ahead of the August 8 poll.
"Hassan Omar was the architect to ensure that NASA never fielded a single candidate in all positions," said the veteran trade unionist.
NASA went on to lose to Jubilee in all elective positions as all the coalition affiliate parties had fielded candidates giving advantage to the ruling party.
While dismissing the impact of Omar's decision to join Jubilee,Odege said that the former Senator has no political clout and that his move is inconsequential.
"I don't think Omar Hassan can be classified as a lieutenant, he is a failure," he added.
