Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa is uncomfortable with former Meru Governor Peter Munya’s admission to NASA as a principal.
Jumwa says NASA Principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula blundered in admitting Munya to NASA as sixth principal.She told journalists in Kilifi on Wednesday that Raila and other opposition leaders should have admitted Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho or Kilifi county chief Amason Kingi as the opposition coalition’s sixth principal.“We want one us from Coast, either Joho or Kingi to be made NASA principal,” the firebrand former Kilifi Woman Representative said.“Munya does not add any value to NASA. We campaigned and we know the response we received from Meru.”Munya officially joined NASA on Tuesday and was welcomed to the opposition political outfit by Raila, Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula at Raila’s Capitol Hill office in Nairobi.He cut ranks with Jubilee after claiming Jubilee Party officials rigged him out. Former Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi replaced Munya as governor.
