Uriri MP Mark Nyamira has warned politicians allied to Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi on what he termes as 'unnecessary' succession politics.
MPs allied to the two leaders have openly insisted that they will be on the presidential race even with ongoing push for electoral reforms.
On Monday at his constituency, Nyamita insisted that the two should ensure Raila is sworn in first before they embark on 2022 race.
"We do not need 2022 succession politics at the moment. They should first swear in Raila before we join that debate.
"We still have many issues to tackle before the premature 2022 succession race. All we need first is swearing Raila as president," he said.
Nyamira's remarks comes a day after Odinga insisted that he shall revert to mass protests until electoral justice is restored in Kenya.
While he insists that he will be not be on presidential race in 2022, both Kalonzo and Mudavadi are keen to inherit his constituency.
