Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho will on Friday flag off 47 ODM branded buses from Mombasa to each of the 47 counties in the country, ahead of the party's tenth anniversary on Saturday.
In a statement to newsrooms on Wednesday, ODM Director of Elections and Campaigns, Junet Mohamed said the buses will provide transport to party delegates from all over Kenya to participate in the celebrations.
Junet said several supporters have donated 823 personal vehicles, which will be branded and used to mobilise and rally residents ahead of the 2017 polls.
ODM Party leader Raila Odinga who is set to arrive in Mombasa on Friday, will take part in several roadshows, accompanied by delegates.
Joho, who is the ODM deputy party leader, will then host a private reception in honour of the former prime minister and his wife Ida Odinga.
The party will then hold grand convention, where Raila is expected to make a ground-shaking political announcement.
A celebratory procession will then be held in the evening on Mama Ngina drive where Tanzanian musician Diamond is set to perform.
The night will then conclude with a dramatic fireworks display.
The Jubilee Party has bought 47 Land Cruiser Prados ahead of its official launch on Saturday.
