The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party director of communication Philip Etale has launched a scathing attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta's first cousin, Beth Mugo. Mugo who was the former Kenyan Minister of Public Health and Sanitation was nominated by Jubilee party as a senator to the 12th Parliament.Etale has now hit out at the Jubilee senator saying her nomination has denied other potential party members a chance to achieve their political aspirations. He further questioned Mugo's age. "Nominated Senator Ms. Beth Mugo (UK's first Cousin) is 80 years old. Her nomination (twice) locked out potentials like Lydia Mathia, Wamboi Nyuthu and hate mongers like Pauline Njoroge, Oliver Mathenge et'al from achieving their political dreams. I thought you should know...," Etale wrote on Twitter, Friday. Etale's remarks came a day after a section of Kenyans and Jubilee allied politicians reacted to the nomination of Opposition leader Raila Odinga's elder brother Oburu Odinga to East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) due to his age.
