ODM national treasurer Timothy Bosire has denied endorsing Nyamira governor John Nyagarama’s reelection bid.
Nyamira County is yet to initiate any NASA campaign with sources indicating that internal feuds have rocked ODM party from within.
And the Kitutu Masaba MP was on Wednesday quoted to have endorsed Nyagarama, a move that led to severe online criticism.
“I only chaired an ODM delegates meeting and we only laid strategies on how to roll out campaigns,’ said Bosire.
He added: “I think you writers do not interpret the situations properly. I am in ODM and he is also an ODM member. As much as we don’t agree, we have to campaign for NASA.”
The Orange party has been rocked in a crisis with a section of party supporters accusing the governor of rigging West Mugirango MP James Gesami during nominations.
On his part, Bosire is in charge of NASA campaigns and is said to be planning a host of rallies ahead of Raila Odinga’s tour to the region slated 16th July this year.
