A day after Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula linked Raila Odinga to his woes, ODM leaders from Nyamira have differed with their parties position.
In Bungoma, Wetangula further said he's disinterested with Senate leadership, which he'd lost to James Orengo.
"I will not be party to the retreat because they have already made decisions. I am no longer interested," he said.
But in a rare case of defense, two youth leaders allied to ODM have condemned the party's position.
Kitutu Masaba ODM youth leader Douglas Maati said the move would jeopardize Raila's legacy.
"Whether he participated or not, it will be difficult to convince people of his innocence," he said.
His Borabu counterpart James Saisi added: " Raila should handle this matter as a statesman. They may have betrayed him but that's the best way of responding."
Ford Kenya party has since warned that it will make it uncomfortable for Raila to address unitary talks across the country.
Kisii region played host to Raila slightly a week after he reconciled with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
