Saboti member of parliament Caleb Amisi has warned ODM politicians against assuring the deputy president of the party support in 2022 race to state house.
The ODM legislator said they will cross the 2022 bridge when they reach there.
"It is our job, as members of parliament, to legislate with an eye to the long term future, to look over the horizon beyond the next election and ensure that as far as we can what we do today will make Kenya a better place, a safer place, for future generations to live in," said Amisi in his constituency, Tuesday.
"The times of politics and campaigns are over and as a country we are 7 months behind delivery time therefore it's time to work and not politicking," added the ODM MP.
He, however, called upon the deputy president William Ruto to stop early campaigns and concentrate on making the lives of the electorates better .
" I want to tell my deputy president to stop panicking on his early campaigns and take advantage of the two excellences that is Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta who have come together with a mission of uniting Kenyans and deliver the BIG 4 agenda," noted Amisi.
