Six people have been arrested Narok after being found with marked ballot papers intended for the ODM primaries.
The six were on Saturday morning apprehended at a Kilgoris town hotel and taken for grilling at the Kilgoris CID headquarters.
According to police, they were found with already marked ballot papers promoting the election of KIlgoris MP and Women-rep seats.
Transmara West acting deputy OCPD Stephen Kyenze however denied reports that one aspirant was among those arrested.
This comes after earlier reports intimated that Kilgoris MP aspirant Peter Oiboo had been arrested with the marked papers.
Mr Kyenze revealed that police tracked the suspects after a tip-off from leaders in the area.
“One of the aspirants for the parliamentary seat, Joseph ole Siparo, informed us that some people masquerading as agents with ballot papers,” he said as quoted by the Star.
"We are investigating the matter together with the party officials to find out how they were acquired," he added.
The nomination exercise was being conducted across 170 polling stations in Nkareta, Olokurto, Ololung’a, Oloropil and Narok Town wards.
