Orange Democratic Party (ODM) is now accusing renowned TV anchor and political moderator Jeff Koinange of siding with the ruling Jubilee Party.
In a tweet, Thursday, ODM Director of Communications Phillip Etale accused Koinange of using his Jeff Koinange Live (JKL) sho to repetitively attack the party and opposition leader Raila Odinga with an aim of soiling his reputation.
He observed that a good number of the panelists hosted in the program are anti-Odinga campaigners, imported with the sole aim of defacing the National Super Alliance (NASA) supremo.
''JKLive has and will continue to be a Jubilee mouthpiece. The host keeps recycling same characters over and over with one agenda... @RailaOdinga. The show sounds like an old record by the Grand Kabaselle sang in 1940s. Boring,'' tweeted Etale.
According to Etale, the show has failed to discuss itchy issues on the national importance and deserves a shun, adding that majority of the allegations placed on the veteran leader's shoulders, in the program, have no basis.
''The day @KoinangeJeff shall invite people to discuss ERRORS in textbooks, Insecurity in Mt. Elgon, the unaccounted for Billions, Food insecurity, the KNH mess, Electoral Injustice etc and not just @RailaOdinga, then shall we take him seriously,'' he added.
This follows Wednesday's edition, that saw Amani National Congress (ANC) party Secretary General Barrack Muluka accuse Odinga of fooling his NASA co-leaders moments before his January 30 People's President inauguration.
Muluka alleged that Odinga duped Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula and ANC boss Musalia Mudavadi, only to appear alone at the inauguration venue, with the 3 left to face cowardice and betrayal accusations.
