“Did you know there is another mega scam like the Murang’a one in Kuresoi?” read part of the post.

Suna East MP Junet Mohamed said he has been made aware of the Sh34 billion water project.

“I am told there is another one coming up in the Rift valley,” he posted.

The 57m-high dam, is expected to produce 100,000 cubic metres of water in a day.

The dam will have three permanent tributaries that include Sondu, Ndoinet and Songol rivers.

After its completion, the project will benefit over 800,000 residents of Kuresoi, Molo, Njoro, Rongai and Nakuru town with clean and reliable piped water.
