ODM party has unanimously dismissed the appeals launched by 10 rebel members over the party’s decision to expel them.
Through the National Governing Council (NGC), the party said that those expelled cannot be given a second chance because they have failed to show their remorse.
According to ODM legal committee chairman Timothy Wanyonyi, the appellants' "pattern of behaviour does not show remorse and (they) should be expelled".
"Members who were expelled should now prepare for by-elections because there is no going back on this," he said as quoted by the Star.
Among those expelled are Kisii Governor Joash Maangi, Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya, and MPs Samuel Arama (Nakuru West) and Ababu Namwamba (Budalang'i).
The others include MPs John Waluke (Sirisia), Masoud Mwahima (Likoni), Isaac Mwaura (Nominated), Stephen Kariuki (Mathare), Zainab Chidzuga (Kwale Woman-Rep) as well as Viwandani MCA Samwel Nyang'wara.
