Speaking after a meeting at the Pan African Hotel in Nairobi Thursday, a group of lawmakers drawn from Amani National Congress (ANC), Wiper and Ford Kenya parties pointed at a possible ganging-up of the three parties against the Orange Party.

Reacting to ODM party leader Raila Odinga's recent peace pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta, the leaders, led by Lugari lawmaker Ayub Savula, said that the three formations are considering taking over the alliance should ODM refuse to include them in the talks preceding the deal.

The threats have, however, been rubbished by ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, maintaining that the three parties have no capacity to implement the threat.

He said that ODM is fully aware of the persons behind the scheme, brushing it off as an attempt in futility.

''There is that dog that barks loudest but when you move to pick up a stone it takes off with lightning speed, tail tucked between its legs. We know the individual and collective capacities of those saying they will kick ODM out of NASA. They don't have the balls,'' said Sifuna in a tweet moments after.
