After a two-day break, the ODM National Elections Board (NEB) has embarked on the final stretch of party primaries (today), Friday April 28.
The exercise began Thursday April 13, 2017 and has been ongoing in various Counties across the country.
As directed by the National Appeals Tribunal and various County Appeals Committees, repeat exercises are being held today in various parts of the country.
However, following reviews by the Board, repeat exercises at St Monica Polling Station, Noonkopir Primary School , Sholinke Primary School in Kitengela and Sholinke wards in Kajiado County, Gombato-Bongwe ward in Msambweni Constituency in Kwale County and Tezo ward in Kilifi County, have been called off.
Repeat exercises are being held in:
1. Shinyalu Constituency2. South Mugirango Constituency3. Nakuru Town West Constituency4. Ibeno and Birongo wards in Nyaribari Chache Constituency5. 19 polling stations in six wards in Mombasa County6. Two wards in Turkana County7. Ten wards in Uasin Gishu County.
''Election materials to the afore-mentioned areas have already been dispatched and officials sent to the areas ready for the exercise. Voting begins at 6:00am and ends at 5:00pm,'' said NEB chairperson Judith Pareno, Thursday, in a statement.
