The Orange party's secretary general Edwin Sifuna on Wednesday said Wetangula will have to blame himself for his troubles when he showed disloyalty to Busia Senator Amos Wako, Siaya's James Orengo and Okong'o Omogeni (Nyamira).

The three, Sifuna said during an interview wit Radio Jambo are senior lawyers "with international repute which no one can challenge".

"He has to blame it all on himself. When you start showing disrespect to people like Amoas Wako, James Orengo and Okong'o Omogeni just because you are a NASA co-principal what do you expect," Sifuna said.

"All these are senior lawyers and we all know their place in society."

Wetangula is also a lawyer.

Sifuna said Wetangula's ouster as Senate Minority Leader was not approved by opposition chief Raila Odinga as claimed by some leaders within the opposition.

He said all NASA-allied Senators approved Wetangula's dismissal calling for sobriety within the opposition coalition.

"Today's opposition is totally different. If you want to hang yourself, we will give you the rope," Sifuna said.

"We will endavour to build a vibrant opposition and those who think they are too big to be accommodated are free to find their level."
