Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina now says that more changes will soon be witnessed in the Senate.
In a tweet Saturday, the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) lawmaker said that the minority wing of the house, under the leadership of the party, will soon further rearrange the house leadership.
This, he said, is a move established to ensure equal regional balancing in the house.
''We are going to do further changes in House leadership to balance the regions. We have confidence in Orengo’s leadership. We are proud of our party,'' said the Senator.
Ole kina noted that the move is further aimed at allocating the Orange party more seats, being the biggest bloc in the opposition side.
He stressed on the need for fair position sharing, observing that the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led party has been under-supplied.
''We are 20 @ODMPartyKenya members of the Sen, but only one of us had a leadership position. We need to realize that as far as we are fighting for inclusivity, other things need to be taken into consideration. We are going to do further changes in House leadership to balance the regions,'' he said in a separate tweet.
This follows a the recent dethronement of Bungoma Senator and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula as the Senate Minority Leader, a post that has since been taken by ODM's James Orengo of Siaya.
