President Uhuru Kenyatta should not demand that IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati opens servers for August polls, ODM treasurer Timothy Bosire has said.

The IEBC chairman is under pressure to resign following exit of three more commissioners are wrangles within the commission persisted.

And the ex-Kitutu Masaba MP, says perennial post election crisis in the country could be a thing of the past if both Jubilee and ODM agrees on opening of servers to determine winner of presidential elections.

"This is a perfect opportunity for the country to heal from protracted electioneering period. We want to have families of those who were killed by police compensated.

"And now that Jubilee wants Chebukati out of office, Uhuru should be free to have servers for August elections opened to establish the winner," he said.

Even though both sides have since reconciled, the ODM wing has been accusing IEBC of contempt of court after the commission refused to give access to servers as directed by Supreme Court.

Further, he says, both Jubilee and ODM should push for prosecution of the commissioners as a lesson to future occupants.
