The Orange Democratic Movement has responded to claims that Amani National Congress intends to quit the National Super Alliance.
This is after a row erupted over the appointment of members to key parliamentary positions.
On Wednesday, a section of coast MPs dismissed the appointments before Musalia Mudavadi's Amani National Congress (ANC) threatened to walk out of the opposition.
According to the leaders, they were preparing Mudavadi for State House and they did not wish to stay in a coalition that does not work.On Thursday ODM Director of Communication Philip Etale through his twitter account allayed the fears of Mudavadi quitting NASA.
"Talks are at an advanced stage with regard to issues surrounding the Minority Leadership in Parliament. Principals are on top of things. Anything else being said by or attributed to any Member of the Coalition should be treated as personal statement/remark(s)," Etale posted on his Twitter page.
Mudavadi is yet to commend on the matter.
NASA is made up of ODM, Wiper, and Ford Kenya where the respective party leaders are equal principals
